Portable Fiber Production System

Brief Explanation

Fibers are used extensively in many important science and engineering research areas, including purification, filtration, tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, wound healing, drug delivery systems, sensors, energy, and cosmetics. Electrospinning is the most widely used method for fiber production in the market. As MecNano Technologies, we use the pressurized gyration technique in fiber production. The pressurized gyration technique is a production technique based on centrifugal force, which enables the production of size-adjustable fiber with high efficiency. Portable devices have advantages such as eliminating storage and transportation concerns and producing sensitive products while preserving their integrity at the place of use.

Disadvantages such as the fact that it is not easy to collect the fibers produced in a limited number of devices using the pressurized gyration technique, the cleaning and sterilization of the production cabinet is not easy, it is dependent on electricity, and the control of the process parameters is not easy will be eliminated with our new portable fiber production device (HUMA CF1). Thanks to the HUMA CF 1, active pharmaceutical ingredients can be safely and cost-effectively loaded in nanofibers according to clinical needs, even in ambulances, armed conflicts, refugee camps, hospitals, and countries with no easy access to electricity or frequent power outages.

Unique Features

We wanted to share with you just a few of the many innovative features of HUMA CF1, which we will be introducing to you soon. You will be able to access all the details with the product introduction. Please stand by.

  • Portable
  • Battery and/or electrically operated
  • Touch screen control
  • Production of both water-soluble and non-water-soluble fibers
  • Always sterile and visible production area
  • Easy to collect the produced fibers
  • Minimum preparation time for the next production
  • Maximized occupational safety

Field of Application

  • Allows scientists and pharmaceutical companies to work comfortably for extended periods, even in countries with no easy access to electricity or frequent power outages
  • Intervening quickly and practically to the wounded in armed conflicts, thus reducing both the loss of life and the economic burden by mixing the necessary drugs (painkillers, hemostatic, anti-inflammatory agents, etc.) into the polymer solution to produce drug-loaded fiber and the intervention/treatment will begin immediately
  • It can be easily used in ambulances in traffic accidents and various injuries, thus reducing the loss of life
  • It can be used easily in emergency services by health professionals who can be trained in a short time
  • It may be standard equipment in ambulances, hospitals, armed conflicts, and refugee camps
