Assoc. Prof. Muhammet Emin Cam graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Pharmacy in 2012, and completed his Ph.D. in 2017 in the Pharmacology Department of Marmara University. He continues his studies as a faculty member in the Pharmacology Department and focuses on Alzheimer's disease, diabetes, medicinal plants, drug delivery systems and their production systems, 3D printers, and biomaterials. Dr. Cam continued his postdoctoral research at University College London in 2018-2019 and has been a Visiting Researcher&Lecturer at the Mechanical Engineering Faculty of University College London since June 2018 and gives postgraduate courses at the Biomedical Engineering Faculty of the University of Aveiro as a Guest Lecturer since October 2022. He has over 40 publications, mostly in SCI-indexed journals, patent applications, many international publication awards, and cover pages. He is also actively involved in many TÜSEB, TÜBİTAK, and International projects and is currently a Member of the Advisory Board of the Biotechnology Excellence in Health Joint Application and Research Center (SABIOTEK), a Visiting Lecturer at Demiroğlu Bilim University, a Board Member at Marmara University-Nanotechnology and Biomaterials Application and Research Center (NBUAM), a Vice Coordinator of Scientific Research Projects Unit (BAPKO), a Science Committee Member of Kızılay Beverage, and a Scientific Consultant at SFA R&D and ATA BIO Technologies companies. Between 2020-2022, he served as the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Marmara University. Dr. Cam’s publications have received over 800 citations so far and his h-index is 17.
