Gulsum Ercan is a 5th-year student at Marmara University Faculty of Pharmacy. She worked as a research intern for 6 months in the project "Design and Production of Multilayer Patches for the Treatment of Secondary Corneal Infections Due to Corneal Perforation" at NBUAM within the scope of the TUBITAK STAR Program. A TUBITAK 2209-A project and a TUSEB A1-Undergraduate project she wrote under the consultancy of Assoc. Prof. Muhammet Emin Cam was supported. She worked on magnetic nanoparticles with Prof. Dr. Anton Ficai at the University Polytechnica of Bucharest for 2 months within the scope of Erasmus+ KA131. She continues her studies on Diabetes, Alzheimer's disease, drug delivery systems, 3D printing, and biomaterials.
